Samurai Volleyball Academy Club was created to bring the passion for the sport to the community. Our mission is to foster a love for volleyball while developing skills and teamwork in a supportive environment. We welcome players of all ages and skill levels to join us in exciting journey. Together, we can elevate the game and create lasting memories on and off the court.
Meet the Directors

William Price - Director/Coach
Wil brings over 31 years of coaching experience across high school, college and club volleyball. His coaching journey has taken him from Okinawa, Japan to Edmond, Oklahoma, shaping athletes at every level. With more than 35 years of playing experience around the world—as both a player and coach—he offers a truly global perspective on the game. Coach Wil has led and developed athletes in competitive clubs throughout California and Oklahoma.
He founded Samurai Volleyball Academy Club (SVBAC) out of his deep passion and love for the sport. Driven by a desire to grow volleyball and create meaningful opportunities for athletes, Coach Wil is committed to developing players both on and off the court. His deep knowledge of the game, strong leadership, and unwavering passion for athlete development continue to make a lasting impact on the volleyball community.

Vida Price - Director/Coach
Vida brings over 25 years of combined experience as both a player and coach. She has spent the last 11+ years coaching high school and club volleyball with various competitive programs across Oklahoma. Her passion for volleyball runs deep and now channels that same dedication into developing young athletes. Coach Vida’s commitment to leadership, growth, and excellence continues to inspire and elevate those she coaches.
She founded Samurai Volleyball Academy Club to help grow the sport in Oklahoma and to provide athletes with a meaningful avenue to develop their skills, build character, and foster a lifelong love for the game.
MEET THE COACHES

Kyeli Price
Coach Kyeli began her coaching journey early—starting at the middle school level and quickly transitioning into club volleyball. Her passion for the game was sparked at a young age and deepened through years of playing on competitive teams across Oklahoma during high school.
With 14 years of combined experience as both a player and coach, she brings valuable expertise, great knowledge of the game, and precision in her coaching approach. Coach Kyeli’s passion, commitment, patience, and keen attention to detail make her an exceptional addition to the Samurai Volleyball Academy Club (SVBAC) coaching staff.

Diana Price
Coach Diana brings 3 years of coaching experience to Samurai Volleyball Academy Club (SVBAC). She has coached at Moore Middle School and with competitive club volleyball programs. With 9 years of playing experience—from middle school through club volleyball—she brings a strong foundation and firsthand understanding of the game.
Coach Diana’s knowledge, skill, athleticism, and passion for volleyball shine through in her structured lesson planning and hands-on coaching style. Her energy and commitment to developing young athletes make her a valuable asset to the SVBAC coaching team.

Ryan Murphy
Coach Ryan brings over 5 years of experience coaching boys volleyball, with a deep passion for sharing his love of the game. His impact is especially felt in the Oklahoma City community, notably at Putnam City High School (PCHS), where he introduced the sport to over 150 high school boys. His drive and dedication led to the development and establishment of a benchmark program for boys volleyball within Oklahoma City Public Schools. In addition to coaching boys, Coach Ryan has also worked with both boys and girls teams at the high school and club levels. Over the past 5 years, he has coached with several clubs across the city, bringing a wealth of knowledge, tenacity, and experience to every team he leads. His commitment to developing athletes and growing the sport makes him a valuable asset to the Samurai VBAC coaching staff.

William Price II
Coach Will brings 2 years of coaching experience, backed by a strong foundation as a dedicated and accomplished player. He began playing volleyball at the age of 10 and quickly fell in love with the game. With over 8 years of club volleyball experience, Coach Will has spent countless hours refining his skills and mastering his craft.
His hard work and discipline have paid off, as he now competes as a semi-professional player—continuing to fuel his passion for the sport. Coach Will’s expertise, commitment, and leadership on the court provide a solid foundation for the athletes he coaches. His presence is an asset to both the players and the Samurai VBAC coaching staff.
